This mounting kit is designed for 2018-later Softail models. It includes all necessary hardware, an SAE cable, and a 5.5-meter cable for connecting heated accessories. Pre-installed heated connections under the seat are required for proper function. The kit is not compatible with Mid Frame Air Deflectors, and an extension cord may be necessary for full range of motion. A warning is included that standard threadlocker can damage plastic parts, recommending a plastic-safe variant.
